I try to use best quality beads (mainly Japanese) in my beadwork, along with a mixture of pearls, stones, dichroic glass and shells, and am always on the lookout for new and unusual materials to work with. |

I have enclosed a Brecciated Jasper donut within loops of beads, which hangs from a double strap of spiral rope. Little teardrop beads are combined with seed beads to form the spirals, in dark greens, maroons and sparkling champagne. |

This amulet came about whilst I was experimenting with adding netting over a brick stitched body, which is done in three-bead brick stitch. The strap is a daisy chain and a few extra dangles with bugles and teardrops have been added to one end of the strap. The bottom fringe also ends with teardrop beads. |
