“Good Fortune” Amulet Purse

This original piece was designed and featured in ‘Popular Crafts’ magazine (February 2005) to celebrate the Chinese New Year. It uses a mix of soft matte red, gold and black seed beads with a few metallic beads added for highlights. The purse is finished with a small fringe and a loop fastener. The purse is ideal for holding a ‘fortune cookie’ saying or a little token/gift for a friend or relative.

Length of Strap 24”/61cm.

Wired “Fish” Cuff Bracelet

This cuff consists of a multi-coloured wire netting, decorated with colourful millefiori beads and five bright glass fishes. Double wire loop fastener with Indian glass beads. This is a fun piece of jewellery - ideal for wearing on a seaside holiday or to a beach barbecue.

Length 7”/17-18cm.

“Summer Bouquet” Bracelet

I originally designed this bracelet as part of a project for ‘Popular Crafts’ magazine (June 2005). It is a sumptuous mix of netted bead strands, embellished with a variety of accent beads (butterflies, flowers, crystals and drops) in a cheerful mix of orange, red, green and white. A gold-plated ‘Apple’ toggle fastener completes the bracelet.
